I am Ricardo Pérez-Solero, a journalist AND COMMUNICATIONs STRATEGIST with over 12 years of experience, including six as a foreign correspondent for EFE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA. I’ve lived and worked in Scotland, Belgium, Chile, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and currently I am based in Madrid. My Journalistic Work focuses on human rights, vulnerable communities, the environment and migration.
I strive to tell stories that matter. Whether I'm photographing Buddhist monks on the Tonle Sap riverside or documenting migration routes in Southern Europe, my goal is to reflect the dignity, resilience and complexity of the people and places I encounter. I believe Storytelling can, and should, be part of the solution, and I see IT as a powerful tool for human connection.
